What is it?

What to expect

During a Kybella treatment, you will receive a series of small injections directly into the area under the chin. Most Kybella treatments take 15 to 20 minutes. Some patients feel discomfort or a burning sensation during injections. Our providers can help reduce this discomfort with a topical anesthetic or ice packs.

Following the injections, some patients experience swelling, bruising, or redness. These side effects typically resolve within a few days to a week. Depending on your unique needs, multiple treatment sessions may be necessary to get the best result. Treatment sessions are spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart.
